Swan architectes
Swan Architectes is a Paris-based architectural firm founded in 2010 by Serge Rodrigues, Joachim Bellemin, and Ambroise Bera. Swan works to improve the quality of construction and living environments for public and private clients. Paying special attention to the impact of its activities on the environment, the firm strives to minimize the carbon and energy impact of the buildings it designs.
Swan is involved in the restructuring of public facilities, particularly in the context of global performance contracts: sports centres in Nanterre, secondary schools in Seine-Saint-Denis, Essonne and Hauts-de-Seine. Two completed projects won awards in 2018 at the Wood Construction Awards: the Paul Vaillant Couturier sports centre in Nanterre and the Montéclin equestrian centre in Bièvres. Teaching, training and research are parallel activities that are essential to the agency's production. It does not hesitate to question working methods and construction models, whether in its daily practice or through theoretical working groups.
