Antonio Tejedor, Mercedes Linares. Tejedor Linares Arquitectos

Tejedor Linares Arquitectos is an architecture studio based in Seville, founded by Antonio Tejedor and Mercedes Linares.

Antonio Tejedor (b. in Seville, 1962) received the Extraordinary Doctoral Prize from the University of Seville (1998). He is a Professor of Architectural Design and Director of the University Institute of Architecture and Construction Sciences (IUACC), both at the University of Seville, Higher Technical School of Architecture (Spain). At the same university, he coordinates the Doctoral Program in Architecture at the International Doctoral School and is the Director and Scientific Coordinator of the International Forum on Roman Theatres (3rd edition, 2016) with the AA.II.CC.

He has been a visiting professor at numerous renowned European universities, including Juav (Venice), Federico II (Naples), and La Sapienza (Rome), as well as at the University of Buenos Aires FAU (Argentina), the Higher School of Architecture of Guadalajara (Mexico), the National University of Colombia in Bogotá (Colombia), and Mackenzie Presbyterian University in São Paulo (Brazil).

Specialist in the Restoration and Conservation of Buildings, Gardens, and Historic Sites: collaborator of the Andalusian Institute of Historical Heritage (1990-2001) and member of the Andalusian Commission of Archaeology (1997-2002).

Mercedes Linares Gómez del Pulgar (b. in Huelva, 1961). A PhD recipient in 2013, she is an adjunct professor in the Department of Architectural Graphic Expression and the Master's Program in Innovation in Architecture, Technology, and Design (MIATD), both at the University of Seville, Higher Technical School of Architecture (Spain).

She currently coordinates the University of Seville's participation in the European Network for Design, Heritage Tourism, and Landscapes. She has been invited to numerous courses, seminars, and workshops, including those for the International University of Andalusia; the IUAV University of Venice (Italy); the Hernán Ruiz Lecture Hall; and the Athens 2009 International Workshop. She has undertaken research stays at the IUAV University of Venice (2016) and the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture (ENSA) Paris-Malaquais (2014), and was a visiting professor at the Bochum University of Applied Sciences in Germany (2013-15).
