V Taller

V Taller is an architecture studio based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, founded by Daniel Villanueva and Miguel Valverde in 2015.

Miguel Valverde is an architect from ITESO, the Jesuit University of Guadalajara (2009-2014). He holds a Master's degree in Advanced Studies in Collective Housing from ETSAM, the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and ETH Zurich (2018-2019), and has completed courses in earthen construction and real estate development at ITESM. He has also collaborated with the studios of Macías Peredo, Luis Aldrete, Anne Lacaton, Hrvoje Njirić, Andrea Deplazes, and Baumschlager Eberle.

Daniel Villanueva is an architect from ITESO, the Jesuit University of Guadalajara (2009-2014), with studies in sustainable design and construction processes. He has complemented his training with academic residencies and collaborations in international workshops focused on collective housing and urban regeneration. Before founding V Taller, he worked in the offices of Tatiana Bilbao and Macías Peredo, where he participated in housing, public space, and cultural facility projects. His work has focused on the relationship between materiality, technique, and local context as driving forces behind architectural projects.
