Wikerstål Arkitekter
Erik Wikerstål (b. May 18, 1952) is one of Sweden's most renowned architects in the field of building conservation and restoration. He founded Wikerstål Arkitekter AB in 1977. He has been the architect of Kalmar Castle, Varberg Fortress, and the ruins of Borgholm Castle, as well as the architect of Lund Cathedral. In 2011, Wikerstål was elected to the Swedish Academy of Fine Arts.
Erik Wikerstål sold Wikerstål Arkitekter to the Swedish architecture firm Tengbom, where he joined the team as an architect specializing in restoration and heritage.
