Bernardo Bader Architects. Bader began his architecture studies at the Leopold-Franzens-University in Innsbruck in 1993 and finished it with distinction in 2001. He has already worked at the "Feichtinger Architectes" in Paris during his studies in 1998 and 1999. In 2003, he founded his own office in Dornbirn and has been a state-authorized and sworn civilian technician since 2006. For his extraordinary wooden buildings, he was awarded several Vorarlberg timber construction tours and in 2007 he received the "Weissenhof Architekturförderpreis" in Stuttgart.

Bader is a member of the advisory board "Raumrelevant Betrachtungen der Vorarlberg" and a member of the design advisory council of the communities Zwischenwasser and Andelsbuch. Since 2012 he has been a lecturer at the Institute for Architecture and Spatial Development at the University of Liechtenstein.

At home and abroad, Bader has participated in numerous exhibitions and gave lectures. In 2013, the Altach Islamic Cemetery, designed by Bernardo Bader, was awarded the Aga Khan Award for Architecture and the Austrian Building Prize.
