ALonso Aperte
Juan Alonso Aperte holds a PhD in geology and is a professor of ground engineering at the Toledo School of Architecture. He was a finalist in the 13th BIAU 2024 for his work on "Stabilization of an urban anthropogenic cave system in Tomelloso." He published "Study of the behavior of foundation soils and stone materials under the effect of environmental and climatic variables" and "Analysis of soil-structure interaction in unique buildings." He has worked on the thermo-hydro-chemical-mechanical modeling of the centralized temporary storage field in Villar de Cañas, Cuenca, in the remodeling of the Fleta Theater in Zaragoza, and on the stabilization of vaults under the Corral de Don Diego.
