MZM arquitectos

MZM Arquitectos is an architecture practice founded in Buenos Aires by Alberto J. Maletti, Fernando Zanel, and Lucas Maletti in 2000.

Alberto J. Maletti, Fernando Zanel, and Lucas Maletti, graduates of the University of Buenos Aires with postgraduate studies and Master's degrees in Preservation, Architecture, and Sustainable Urban Planning, regularly divide their time between professional practice, teaching, and research, both at the University of Buenos Aires and the University of Alcalá in Madrid.

They have designed a large number of square meters, many of which have become completed projects in Argentina and Spain, where they have participated in numerous works and projects, demonstrating a great capacity to adapt to any project scale. They have also received awards and distinctions in various national and international competitions, including First Prize from the Tierra del Fuego Legislature, First Prize in the Andorra Sports Complex Competition, Ushuaia, Second Prize in the Dársena Norte International Competition, Finalist Project in the Martyrs’ Square and the Grand Axis of Beirut International Urban Planning Ideas Competition, Lebanon, and Finalist Project in the Europan 8 Competition in Haarlem, Netherlands, among others.

They are design consultants for prestigious international firms with projects in India and China, developing creative and efficient architectural and urban planning works and projects with a strong commitment to the social, economic, and cultural realities in which they operate. For this reason, they seek to promote an architecture of ideas based on identifying and solving problems, moving away from any kind of prejudice or preconceptions that might limit the possibilities of their proposals.
