Seoane
Between 1991 and 1994, he furthered his education with a Master's degree in Architecture from Columbia University, New York, and postgraduate studies at the Escola Superior de Artes e Design in Porto, Portugal. During these years, he gained professional experience working with leading figures in architecture, such as Álvaro Siza in Porto (1994-1997), Vinoly Architects in New York (1992-1993) and ETC, Engineers and Planners in New Jersey (1991-1992). He also collaborated as a local associate on projects in Galicia for internationally renowned architects, including David Chipperfield, Peter Eisenman, and Álvaro Siza himself.
In 1997, he founded CSA arquitectura, his own studio, and a year later began working as an assistant professor in the Construction Department of the School of Architecture in A Coruña. In 2009, he reinforced his commitment to promoting Galician architecture internationally by founding the CA Institute, an educational institution dedicated to fostering Galician architecture. He also serves as director of the Compostela Architecture Foundation, where he promotes architectural research and outreach initiatives.
Seoane has also been a prominent author of publications on contemporary architecture, contributing to books such as Metro do Porto, Souto de Moura (2018), Siza x Siza (2015), Compostelas Contemporáneas (2013), and Fundación Iberê Camargo (2011), among others. His work has been recognized with numerous awards in the fields of architecture, painting, photography, and design, solidifying his position as a key figure in contemporary Spanish architecture.
