SPeeCH was founded by Sergei Tchhoban and Sergey Kuznetsov in 2006 in Moscow and has already completed more than 45 projects. Currently it is managing by Igor Chlenov and Anton Pavlov. The completed projects by SPEECH could be found both in Moscow and in St. Petersburg, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm. The office also has a several number of completed projects outside Russia: in Venice and Milan (Italy), Berlin (Germany), Dubai (UAE). The creative credo of the company is a detailed thoughtful approach to absolutely every project, starting from the exhibition design and temporary pavilion and ending with a large-scale residential or administrative complex. One of the office's specializations is spectacular art objects and themed pavilions.
In 2012, SPEECH completed the exhibition of the Russian Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale. The dome decorated with qr-codes got a Special mention from the jury – for the first time in the history of Russia's participation in the biennale. In 2015, SPEECH built the Pavilion of Russia at EXPO in Milan. In 2021 year SPEECH completed the Russian Pavilion at EXPO-2020 in Dubai (together with Simpateka Entertainment Group).
With the same care, SPEECH approaches the development of large-scale projects – for example, the Nevskаya Ratusha (together with Evgeny Gerasimov and partners), which houses the government of St. Petersburg, or the multifunctional skyscrapers Federation Tower and Neva Towers. Among the buildings by SPEECH you can also see many cultural and sports facilities – Museum for Architectural Drawing in Berlin, VTB Arena in Moscow (together with Manica Architecture), the Palace of Water Sports in Kazan, Krasnodar Stadium (together with gmp) and Luzhniki Stadium, which hosted the final match of the 2018 World Cup.
Regardless of the function of the object, one of the most striking features of this office is the architecture, interesting both in its silhouette and in every detail. It's interesting to get closer to these buildings, it's interesting to look at them. The texture of the lovingly selected facade material and precisely found shape, decorative ornament, or geometric pattern – all these features feed the eye, sinks into the memory, and encourage you to take photos and selfies.
The projects by SPEECH have been widely awarded. Among the most prominent awards we could name European Prize for Architecture, International Architecture Awards, International Property Awards, SportsEngineering Awards, Moscow Architecture Prize. Commercial Real Estate Moscow Awards and many others.
