Twobo

Twobo was founded in 2007 by María Pancorbo, Alberto Twose, and Pablo Twose in Barcelona. Twobo’s creative process is meticulous and challenging, with craftsmanship always at its core. Hand drawing and model making are two key elements of the design process—both techniques require time and patience.

Twobo has won several awards and received various recognitions. At the 3rd Maresme Architecture Exhibition, Twobo's "Casa Tres Patios" was selected by the College of Architects of Catalonia, and in 2024, the same house was recognized for its sustainability and heritage adaptation, receiving a distinction at the CSCAE Awards. They also received a special mention in the biannual Maresme Regions Exhibition Award for the six houses in Cabrera de Mar, which, in turn, received recognition at the Ascer Ceramics Awards.

– Vallès Exhibition Award for the Tangram House.
– ETSAV Final Degree Project Award for Pablo Twose and María Pancorbo.

Since its inception, Twobo has sought a balance between material sensitivity, context, and functionality, approaching each project as an opportunity to explore new ways of living. His work is characterized by a critical look at the built environment and a respectful approach to preexistence, remaining faithful to a human scale and honest and rigorous construction processes.
