The Lužec nad Vltavou footbridge projeted by
Petr Tej, Marek Blank and Jan Mourek, is located in the small town of the same name located north of Prague, near the junction between the Elbe and Vltava rivers. It is located within the EuroVelo 7 route that connects Sweden and Sicily.
The footbridge was built to connect the towns of Lužec nad Vltavou and Bukol, separated from the Vltava river which due to its abundant flow becomes an unnavigable river, therefore the bridge became the best alternative to connect the towns of a fast and safe way.
