La Prohibida, in collaboration with Víctor Algora, has released the second single from their latest album, Ruido, called Bouvet. In this new video clip, La Prohibida criticizes the tourist overcrowding and the damage it has caused in the natural setting.

The video clip shows natural environments on the island of Tenerife that have been desecrated by brutalist constructions linked to mass tourism, such as the abandoned hotel in Añaza or the satellite dish, both interventions were paralyzed for not having a license.
The song from La Prohibida, in collaboration with Víctor Algora, is titled Bouvet by the Vela Incident, a mishap that occurred on this island declared a natural reserve where nuclear tests were carried out. Due to this event, the song takes the name of this island, creating a joint criticism between the Sailing Incident and the tourist overcrowding in Tenerife and its ravages in nature.

During the video clip, the skeleton of the abandoned hotel in Añaza appears, a 22-story building with Brutalist aesthetics that has been abandoned for 44 years, which for legal reasons they have not been able to demolish. In addition to this Mamotreto de Añaza, the gigantic satellite dish, located on land with environmental protection, appears in the clip, which was abandoned due to the stoppage of the works due to not having a license.

Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh

¿Dónde estás, ahora, mariposa de la noche?
Miro hacia atrás y el recuerdo
De tu mirada intacta duele

Perdiste el paraíso
Por fábricas y hoteles
Llenamos de basura
Aquellas playas vírgenes

Éramos como astronautas
Bailando entre los pingüinos
¿Qué fue de aquellas criaturas?
No están ya, se han extinguido

Plástico y cristales
Que las olas salvajes
Se unen al chocar
Con la ladera del volcán

Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh
(Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh)
