L35 Architects is an architecture, urban planning, and design studio with offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Sotogrande, Miami, Mexico City, Bogotá, Santiago, Istanbul, and Abu Dhabi. Comprised of 25 partners and more than 200 professionals, since its founding in 1967 by architects José Luis Martínez Honrubia (1945), Juan Fernando de Mendoza (1944), and José Ignacio Galán (1944), —with Guillermo Murtra also initially participating—the studio's history has specialized in residential, office, hotel, commercial, stadium, mixed-use, and urban development.
Its experience in large-scale projects and complex mixed-use programs is particularly relevant. It is currently working on the remodeling of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, the El Campín cultural and sports complex in Bogotá, the Bolívar Stadium in La Paz, the redevelopment of the Toulon waterfront in France, and the renovation of the Stazione Roma Termini. With projects in 40 countries, L35 Architects approaches any architectural challenge through collective reflection with its clients and collaborators, pursuing design excellence. The studio's name comes from its original location at 35 Plaza Letamendi in Barcelona, and throughout its history, it has worked on more than 200 international projects.
