Tremend studio is an architecture studio founded by Magdalena Federowicz-Boule (architect) and Jarosław Gwóźdź (engineer) in Warsaw, Poland, in 2010. The studio specialises in commercial, residential, and complex infrastructure projects, boasting over 150 completed projects, including those in Paris, Budapest, Warsaw, Krakow, and Gdansk. Tremend Architects' portfolio includes transportation projects such as the Łódź Fabryczna Train Station (Łódź, Poland) and the Integrated Transportation Center (Lublin, Poland). Currently, the Tremend studio, as master architect, is responsible, together with Foster + Partners and Kuryłowicz & Associates, for the concept of the Central Transport Port.
Magdalena Federowicz-Boule is an architect from the Wydział Architektury of the Warsaw Polytechnic University and participated in an exchange program at the University of Detroit Mercy (USA). Before founding her studio, she held the position of director at the French firm Iosis Polska, consolidating her experience in international design.
She is a driving force behind initiatives such as the "Architects Without Borders" group under SARP (Stowarzyszenie Architektów Polskich), and is a member of organizations such as ZAIKS.
She has received multiple awards:
• Złoty Żuraw (2003) for the public building on Pileckiego Street
• Property Awards London (2016–2017) for the interiors of Novotel Wrocław Centro (Poland) and Ibis Styles Budapest City (Hungary)
• European Property Awards for the interior design of Ibis Styles Grudziądz
• A’Design Award (Milan) for projects such as Novotel Wrocław (2017) and her own office (2018)
• Muse Design Awards (Platinum), Golden and Bronze A’Design Award for the Crowne Plaza and Ibis Styles Bolesławiec projects
• World Architecture Festival (WAF): Finalist (2019) for the station concept in Lublin (Infrastructure category) / Winner (2023) in the INSIDE category – hotels with the interiors of Royal Tulip Warsaw Apartments.
