"Qué hacer cuando en la pantalla aparece THE END / What to do when THE END appears on the screen.", is the title of the exhibition dedicated to PAULA Bonet, one of the most dynamic young illustrators in Spain and a phenomenon of fans on social networks, organized by Gunter Gallery.

It opens tomorrow and will be the first solo exhibition by the illustrator Paula Bonet in Madrid to mark the publication of her book "What to do when THE END appears on the screen." Mad is Mad Gallery will host on Thursday March 6, fifteen original artwork belonging to the volume edited by Lunwerg speaking of crushes, friendship, butterflies in the stomach, infidelity, lump in the throat ...
A book about the end, arriving without warning, it splits us into two halves, trailing for years and never finished because they confuse pride with memory. Paula Bonet gives the reader a picture accompanying each of her stories, more of her particular universe as known member and is appreciated by audiences and critics. The exhibition includes 15 pieces that you can admire its elegant style, a result of using watercolors and ink that give their figures a clear halo.

PAULA BONET
Paula Bonet, born in Villareal, Castellón, in 1980, BSA on Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of Valencia completes her formation at the NYU of New York, at the UPC of Santiago de Chile and at Dedalo Arte, Italy.
Until relatively not so long ago her style combined pictorial work of engraving and oil paint. She mastered lithography, silk-screen and woodcut printing at the Taller99 of Santiago de Chile and at Urbino, Italy. However, her impulsive temperament collided with the wait and patience needed on the use of those techniques, and the difficulty of incorporating text fragments accompanying the images, which was needed based on her judgment, made her swap oil paint, copper, wood, to ink pens, watercolors and India ink. As a result a faster and more direct approach was achieved, and those speed and immediacy are demanded features of her most recent oeuvre.
And this quickness it is also applicable to the way her work has spread though the internet: Just like gunpowder. Nowadays she recieves commissions from different places like Mexico, Hong Kong or Paris.
