22 renowned cartoonists and illustrators make the paralympic swimmer become the main character of a very special comic.
Espacio Fundación Telefónica presents in exclusive 'Teresa Perales Comics', a graphic story with a prologue by Pau Gasol in which 22 bright national cartoonists have taken Perales as main character.

The comic is about the history of the most award-winning paralympic swimmer in Spain and it has been done by some of the most brilliant spanish draftsmen. Among them names like Paco Roca or Javier Olivares, who won the National Comic Award stand out, as well as renowed names as Miguel Gallardo, Purita Campos, Joaquín Reyes, Paula Bonet, Natacha Bustos, Mauro Entrialgo and Peridis. A total of 22 cartoonists who, each from their essence, have represented Teresa. The foreword was written by Pau Gasol, one of the greatest Spanish sportsmen and personal friend of Teresa.

This book is also a tribute to the sport and aims to give visibility to all those paralympic athletes who struggle daily to achieve recognition and equality with other athletes.

The comic is free and will be distributed in different spaces. Companies, institutions and foundations have joined selflessly in the distribution of comics, from the Spanish Sports Federations for the Disabled, the main comic book shops Spain, the Corte Inglés stores in their sports section; the passenger transport company ALSA and the hotel chains NH and Room Mate; also in the Decathlon store of San Sebastián de los Reyes (Madrid) and the Foundations Vicente Ferrer and Gasol. In total about 80 thousand copies will be distributed.

Paula Bonet.
