From afar it seems, that the NFT metaverse is an abstract concept for the super rich to enjoy, however also, could be the start of ‘phygital’ (blended physical and digital) experiences within the design world.
The design industry is already rallying around this idea of an interoperable, NFT-driven metaverse like virtual furniture by Argentinian designer Andrés Reisinger, “impossible” furniture for Moooi can sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars, and they have already taken the step for their mass production in real life for sale.
