La historia arranca en un buque perdido en el océano. En éste, gobierna la desidia y el hastío, campo ideal para el desarrollo de ensoñaciones surrealistas sobre el amor y la ausencia. See You Again del rapero, productor y diseñador estadounidense Tyler, the Creator, se presenta así como una suerte de “carta de amor” sin destinatario.
El sencillo pertenece al cuarto disco del artista, Flower Boy, que contó con una excelente recepción, llegando incluso a obtener el Grammy a Mejor Álbum de Rap. Sin embargo, See You Again tendría que aguardar un año más para sorprendernos con su caleidoscópica conceptualización visual.

Con fuertes influencias surrealistas, la pieza muestra al rapero encerrado en un buque militar mientras Kali espera desde su bote perdido en el océano, sin más abrigo que un chubasquero y la quietud marina. Sin embargo, el reencuentro nunca llega, prolongándose el agobiante hastío del encierro aún en tierra. Así, Tyler huye del portaaviones de la armada donde parece haber retornado para huir hacia el oscuro bosque donde yacen los fantasmas de sus ensoñaciones.
