The French singer and songwriter Vincent Fenton, known professionally as French Kiwi Juice or FKJ, captivates us with Ylang Ylang, a song from the album Ylang Ylang EP, composed of five more songs, Earthquake, Risk, Brother, 100 Roses and 10 Years Ago .

The concept of the EP comes from the Ylang Ylang room, a home studio. The material is inspired by a remote jungle with beautiful landscapes located in the Philippines, where the artist lived in isolation for 6 months creating music with the help of an electric generator that only served at night.
French Kiwi Juice and his wife stayed in the jungle town while they gave birth to their daughter. After a complication, their daughter tragically did not survive birth and this is where the idea for the EP came from. These 6 songs unite themes of life, loss and the importance of relationships between people.

The central theme of the song revolves around personal experiences, internal struggles and the search for improvement. Difficult moments, the absence of light in life and the hope of finding redemption are mentioned. The artist gives us a feeling of peace and serenity, but at the same time, deep melancholy. Desires for personal improvement, the search for the best, and the hope of remaining firm despite difficulties are mentioned.
