"While you live" by Hera Hyesang Park

"While You Live" was filmed at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and takes the South Korean Soprano, Hera Hyesang Park, on a dreamlike journey from an abandoned opera house to an infinite ocean.

The staging of the music video together with the voice of soprano Hera Hyesang Park, generates a calm and exciting atmosphere in an abandoned space.

Hera Hyesang Park unveils "Breathe", her second album for Deutsche Grammophon. As with her debut, I am Hera, she brings a very personal approach to her choice of music, which ranges from classics by Rossini, Verdi, Massenet, and more to recent works by contemporary composers Luke Howard, Cecilia Livingston, Hyowon Woo, and Bernat Vivancos. The soprano recorded the album in Genoa with the Orchestra and Coro del Teatro Carlo Felice and conductor Jochen Rieder and is joined on some of its tracks by mezzo-soprano Emily D’Angelo.

"Breathe" is the personal result of an existential confrontation of Hera's with the foundation of her being, resulting in her determination to embrace life: "As I contemplated death, I found my soul infused with the magnificence of life. A profound sense of gratitude began to fill my soul."
