"Entre esferas y atmósferas. La arquitectura como interfaz" is a book by Stefano Corbo published by Ediciones Asimétricas. In this book Stefano Corbo talks about the concept of "interface" in architecture, now it is no longer an autonomous and abstract object, he describes it as a means that allows the user to relate and exchange information and stimuli with reality.

This essay focuses on a specific form of interface: that of perception. The new directions of contemporary aesthetics of philosophers such as Böhme, Sloterdik or Virilio are analyzed. From this analysis two categories emerge, perception machines and convective architectures, which will help to better understand the explorations that characterize today's architecture.

It states four general themes that mark the architectural debate and better define the limits and scope of current design concerns. These themes have to do with the idea of duration and internal time; with the progressive dematerialization of formal processes; with the creation of artificial landscapes and with the change from the idea of program to the idea of use.

Stefano Corbo talks to us about concepts such as «aisthesis», «factual fact», «actual fact» «cloud-scape», Analyzes the ideas of the Modern Movement and what architecture is looking for in different parts of the world. He reflects on quotes and works by architects such as Le Corbusier, Frank Lloyd Wright, Mies van der Rohe, Toyo Ito, Alvaro Siza, Otto Friedrich, Rem Koolhaas, among others.
