The Spanish band Los Hermanos Cubero premiered in April the video clip of the song Llama Encendida with the collaboration of the Asturian singer Rodrigo Cuevas. The song is part of the Errantes Tellúricos album and contains the weight of Castilian and Asturian music without enclosing it in a reliquary.

Llama encendida is about the fiery craving for the other's body at the end of the day. In the lyrics of the song, the element of flame represents the warmth you feel when entering home or meeting with loved ones.
Through great voices, a guitar, a mandolin, and some curious Mexican touches, the song by Los Hermanos Cubero speaks of the link between fire and love and also shows that in matters of folklore, tradition and modernity can be the same.

“When they asked me to present treatment for the project, I became interested in a strong direction from the editing. From the beginning, hand in hand with the editor, Sergio Jacinto, we devised a theatrical staging combined with the use of thawing flowers. The rhythm of the song and the lyrics themselves inspired us a lot when creating the spaces and the narrative of the video clip. On the other hand, we add the element of flame, present in the title of the song, as something positive. The fire thaws the blocks of ice to reveal the beauty of the flowers; a similar meaning to the warmth you feel when entering the home or meeting with loved ones. "

Ester G. Mera, music video director.

The video for Llama Encendida is inspired by the message of the song and by the tone of the danceable rhythm. The production, directed by Ester G. Mera, is composed of beautiful images and highlights the personality of traditional Spanish music.

Por la mañana me prende
el primer rallo que asciende
reflejando tu beldad
y se inflaman mis entrañas
cuando empiezan tus pestañas
a agitar el vendaval

Arden todos mis miembros
cada vez que yo remembro
lo que te he llegado a amar
y se quema mi intelecto
se carboniza al momento
que te siento respirar

A media mañana peno
no tengo mi alma en mi cuerpo
porque con tu alma está
y me enfrío y me congelo
mientras ardo de deseo
de volverte a abrazar

Con ansia espero la tarde
para poder calentarme
con las brasas del hogar
que tú cuidas cada día
manteniendo siempre viva
la lumbre en su lugar

Carbonizado y ajado
consumido y agostado
enfriado en un glaciar
aguardo con desespero
que el calor de tu cuerpo
me pueda resucitar

Por la noche llega el tiempo
de estar junto a ti de nuevo
y me vuelvo a quemar
me consumo, ardo y quemo
soy el foco de un incendio
que no puedo sofocar

Abrasado en la pira
yazgo inerte en la agonía
sin poderme apagar
soy rescoldo siempre vivo
me alimenta el soplido
de tu inmensa lealtad

Se mantiene alta y viva
vive la llama encendida
soy la luz que el fuego da
apagándose el brasero
yo me extingo y luego muero
ardiendo soy inmortal.
