What everyone may not know is that Newark, popularly known as "city of bricks", offers many attractions, is the most populous city in New Jersey and the 68th in the country, and is an important industrial, cultural, commercial center, and transportation, is located approximately 8 km west of Manhattan and 4 km north of Staten Island, its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean makes it the largest container port of the port of New York.
In two of its neighborhoods Spanish is spoken: in North Newark by Dominicans and Puerto Ricans and in Iron Bound, by Spaniards and Ecuadorians.
