Anna Vincenza Nufrio

Anna Vincenza Nufrio (Avellino, 1965) . Her professional activity, which began in 1992, after having graduated in Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano, is mainly oriented to teaching in different Universities in Europe and South America.

From 1992 to 1996, she was Assistant Teacher with Prof. Gianni Ottolini, Facoltà di Architettura Civile at the Politecnico di Milano. From 1997 to 1998, resided periodically in Bogotá (Colombia) where, simultaneously with the Doctoral research, she taught at Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano and Universidad Nacional de Colombia. From 1998 to 2004 she worked at the Escola Superior de Arquitectura of the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. From March 1, 2011, (til February 2014) she is a “Marie Curie Fellow”, People Program EU, at Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (ETSAM/UPM), Madrid, Spain.

Like a Researcher I was Principal Investigator of the many research programs.

In May 2006, I returned in Italy, to the Politecnico di Milano, with the Dipartimento di Architettura e Pianificazione (Department of Architecture and Urban Planning) being one of the winners of the National Competition "Rientro dei Cervelli 2005-2007" (Brain Drain Competition). Until May 2010, I was employed at Politecnico di Milano as an Assistant Professor of Landscape and Urban Planning, Temporary Researcher and Head of the Laboratorio di Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (Research Laboratory for Developing Countries). From May 2006 to May 2010 (4 years of research and professional program).

From March 2011, she is a Marie Curie Research Fellow at Technical University of Madrid, Department of Urban & Regional Planning, Madrid, Spain. She actual research filed is on cross-border governance between Hong Kong and Shenzhen (China).
