The winner, which will receive as award a printer and a profesional projector, is the student Pau Genis Bajet who has presented a proposal for the National Library of Catalunya. A clear and attractive exposition of his project and a reflexion that he does about architecture have been the best points in the jury valoration.
The award it is given in the closure of the exhibition "Mejores proyectos, mejores prácticas by Epson", which during 10 days has showed in the ETSAB hall 24 final degree projects of the last year which have got the higher marks.
The contest jury, composed by teachers of ETSAB, experts in EPSON marketing, and communication experts have valued the communication capacity in the presentation, beyond the architectonical quality of the proposals. It was required to every student to synthesise in only one paper all the grafic information and the architectonical speech of their project.
So that, it has been awarded aspects as creativity, originality, communicative capacity and the optimization of resources in the presentation, highlighting the necessity of achieving competencies in the communication area of projects and in the technological devices use which nowadays are close to the students with creativity and communicative purpose.
Among the projects presented to the exhibition and to the contest it has also been seen a new Theathre Arnau, a library in Tarragona, a music school in Sants, a market and bus station in Vic, a museum, a Beaux Arts school, a hotel, even a project for the ETSAB bibliotheque.
