First episode of the week, and are 16 in total during this second season, In Treatment [> 2] METALOCUS, the fourth episode by Javier visiting cities and drinking beer. Good In Treatment. I.L.

Places where architecture could be really alive, but not in the phisic or material fact, if not in the words of the ones who are enjoying a drink and good mood in there. Cause after walking through the city, a better moment is even to sit down and talk, cheers, and remember the nice time, while other people do the same but breaking their working day with huge laughs.

And so, there are always good places. In the cities I've lived in I've also my favorite ones. Let me talk you about them, linking these with buildings visited before finishing the day in them.

Let's begin with Denmark. So a great building from a young danish office, L&T, in front of the Opera hause and in the side of the canal. Little Mermaid is also near, so visiting both places, we left them, take the way to the old city and after walking and discovering many awesome and quite streets, we'll arrive to a weird pub, where artists, travellers, students, architects... mix all together and enjoy a night concert, table games, more beers and even play football, but the small table one. It's named Floos.

From old town Delft to the TU University, there's just few minutes by bike, so a bit more by foot. We can find interesting architecture books and magazines in any of the huge shelves that stand up under the tilted walking roof, broken by a unexpected cone, that throws light to the most silence and fixed place of the Library. From the top of the cover, we will have a suggestive view of the town, with its two towers, one inclined and the other one of the tallest one in Holland, where Vermeer and the Orange kings rest respectively, the University Campus to the left. When we'll be finished with the studying day, follow the Oude Delft canal and arrive to Tango, where the students enjoy evening and night also with the people from there and, on Thursday, with Mecanoo team, who will join some tables to speak about everything while the candles bright...

Gustav Klimt is such an important person for Vienna. As the austrian people know, they show their paintings in the best places: Belvedere (upper and lower), or the Secession building, an Ollbrich project, which is headed with that peculiar golden ball over the white walls, close to the Karlsplatz. In this second building, symbol and exhibition place for the movement of the beggining of XX century, there's also a great Klimt's Fresco in the basement. After the visit we could go first for a coffee and a film in Top Kino, and later to Schikaneder, which belongs to the same owner, and also offers an independent movie cinema and nice mood till half night... Cause not everything is architecture and, as well as a person wrote, Life is a dream, and these ones go through funny bubbles and loop movements of the cigarette smoke...
