Chemtrails Over The Country is the new musical single by American artist Lana Del Rey, which has been presented on all digital platforms on January 11, 2021.

This song will be part of his seventh album produced by Polydor Records and Interscope Records that will be released on March 19, 2021 and will feature nine more songs. Although the forecasts were for the album to be released in September of last year, the setbacks caused by the COVID-19 pandemic have forced its launch to be delayed.

The singer and songwriter shows a work of her own style, although with an apparent musical development. However, as regards the visual aesthetics of the video, it shows the authenticity of which Lana Del Rey is characterized. On the other hand, a nod to the current health situation is reflected with the inclusion of a "ribbed type" mask.

The scene seems to start with a typical summer day, where time is shared with friends with a carefree essence. However, Lana Del Rey is characterized by her literary inspirations, giving rise in this case to a kind of "femme fatale", where she seems to have a dual personality: a daytime and a nocturnal one.

The calm and fresh colors, with "pop art" shots, of the first part of the videoclip contrast with the second half in which tenuous colors prevail accompanied by vampire characters.
