"The space of Lepenism, while reinforcing mass, tends to lose some of its territorial composition. It is made of many filaments but interstitials, which weave a negative frame of the major communication networks. It is the space of withdrawal, voluntary or imposed, vis-à-vis the public space. Conversely, the urbanity, the mixture density and diversity, behaves vis-à-vis the National Front, as a shield strengthened. This election thus shows a radicalization of the space from the extreme right: the supporting or rejecting emerging spaces increasingly impervious to each other."
