Historically associated with courtship and intimacy, the waltz functions here as a symbol of emotional connection and harmony between two people. Leon Guallart presents an audiovisual piece where love appears less as a dramatic event and more as an everyday experience that transforms the perception of the surrounding environment.

"Waltz Romance" by Leon Guallart.
People dance joyfully in open spaces in Barcelona, turning the city into a kind of collective ballroom, shifting romance from the private sphere to the public one. Each couple appears as a fragment of a larger story: the editing establishes relationships between different scenes to construct a kind of emotional mosaic.
The music video can be interpreted as a celebration of tenderness, of demonstrations of love and care in public spaces. Dancing a waltz in the middle of the city means occupying the urban environment with gestures of affection, slowness, and beauty.

Lyrics.-
How can I be
so lost in you?
Butterflies
when I'm coming home
to you
And love
came tonight
And I will bow
under the moonlight
to you
All of my life
I've dreamt of you
For every step
only brings me back
to you
And love
is here tonight
And I will shine
a new light
to you
