Barcelona-born musician Leon Guallart recently released the music video for his new song, "Waltz Romance," a preview of his second studio album, TUNDRA. As in his previous work, the artist explores a creative universe that unfolds between introspection, emotion, and nostalgia.

This time, "Waltz Romance" uses the waltz structure as a metaphor for human relationships. Through a narrative composed of accumulated fragments, the song reflects scenes of encounter, intimacy, and celebration.

Historically associated with courtship and intimacy, the waltz functions here as a symbol of emotional connection and harmony between two people. Leon Guallart presents an audiovisual piece where love appears less as a dramatic event and more as an everyday experience that transforms the perception of the surrounding environment.

People dance joyfully in open spaces in Barcelona, turning the city into a kind of collective ballroom, shifting romance from the private sphere to the public one. Each couple appears as a fragment of a larger story: the editing establishes relationships between different scenes to construct a kind of emotional mosaic.

The music video can be interpreted as a celebration of tenderness, of demonstrations of love and care in public spaces. Dancing a waltz in the middle of the city means occupying the urban environment with gestures of affection, slowness, and beauty.

Lyrics.-

How can I be
so lost in you?

Butterflies
when I'm coming home
to you

And love
came tonight

And I will bow
under the moonlight
to you

All of my life
I've dreamt of you

For every step
only brings me back
to you

And love
is here tonight

And I will shine
a new light
to you
