On June 21st, the DHUB presents the inauguration of Interaction Laboratory, a presentation of interactive pieces that use technology to create a dialogue between man and machine.
One of the exhibition's pieces Dream Jammies, by Alexander Reeder, is a pair of pyjamas that are connected to an iPhone application that lets your partner to know if you are sleeping, awake or moving. Using a colour system that changes your phone depending on the movements you make, it also records data such as, body temperature and breathing patterns, so you can feel closer to your partner even if he or she is thousands of kilometres away.
Technology does not pose a threat to communication but provides an opportunity to connect more with people. Starting June 10th you try out these pyjamas and other pieces of interest at the exhibition, Interaction Laboratory. The senses of machines (I/O/I), that runs until 2012 in Espai 1 at the DHUB (Montcada, 12).
