Organized by the Communications Faculty at the Complutense University of Madrid and the Icono 14 Scientific Association, the II International Creative Cities Conference addresses the innovative actions carried out by public and private, governmental or non-governmental organizations, national and international companies and citizens, artists and communities; all of those who can, in some way, creatively participate in the construction of what we know as “cities”.
To encourage and disseminate the creative, inventive and original actions, we invite Spanish and international cities to make public their most creative projects, how they were conceived and developed, and what were their results. Our goal is to promote the synergy of large and small, national and international cities actions, contribute to the UN-Habitat agenda and the UNESCO's Creative Cities Network to spread the creativity of different urban projects.
