Today, the Ministry of Development, through the Ministry of Housing and Urban Projects, has been awarded the National Prize of Architecture, Housing and Urban Development 2010. The Catalan architect Lluis Clotet has been recognized with the award for Architecture. Housing Award went to the Municipal Housing in Barcelona and the educational project of the Official Colegio de Arquitectos de Galicia, Proxecto Terra, gets the Prize of Urbanism.

Lluis Clotet.
Nace en Barcelona en 1941. Obtiene el título de arquitecto en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona en 1965. En 1964 funda Studio PER junto con los arquitectos Pep Bonet, Cristian Cirici y Oscar Tusquets. Con este último colabora en múltiples proyectos hasta 1983. En 1984 se asoció con Ignacio Paricio con el que ha obtenido el Premio Nacional de Patrimonio Cultural 1999, Generalitat de Catalunya; varias veces el FAD y dos veces el Construmat. De su creación destacan también los diseños de objetos de uso industrial: Estantería Hialina, Campana BD, y Estantería Hipostila. Todos ellos galardonados con el Delta de Oro. Entre otros espacios culturales sus colecciones están el Museo de Arte Moderno de Nueva York.
