Carme Masià presents a selection of photographs taken during her trips to Japan during the '90s. The collection of images inspired by the book "In Praise of the shadow" by Japanese writer Junichiro Tanizaki, framed within Fotointerpreta 2012, was produced by the Biblioteques de Barcelona and now will be exhibited again in Akashi Gallery.
Carme Masià graduated in Photography and Interior by EINA Barcelona. Later she studied Graphics and Photography at the School of Visual Arts in New York. She has made several solo and group exhibitions and has published several books.
