From 02 to 09 of july begin in Istambul the second edition of the conferences and workshops THINKING THE EDGE. Under the name "Water and culture".

The event consists on several architecture conferences as the ones of Aires Mateus, Burgos Architects, Stefano Boeri, Frank Prati, Manuel Gausa or Giancarlo Mazzanti under the title "The Edge", a view about the development of the city and the role of architecture and urbanism into it. Workshops are one of the most important activities, targeted at Master architecture students and tutorized by relevant professors. Besides, during the next weeks, an international design contest will be held as part of the event.

The participation is open for students and young architects proceeding from other universities and countries. To participate it is necessary to send an email to the organization, as they request on their webpage. The payment includes participation in all the activities and lectures. Besides, there also is a limited number of places for free participation for students.
