The music video for the song Concrete and Glass, by French musician Nicolas Godin, like his music, is full of architecture. It takes us on a journey through some of the French buildings of the last century.
"I'm looking for a house, made of concrete and glass" is the letter that begins the vowels. In other words, we could understand the video as a manifesto of some of the architectural works that Nicolas would like to experience.
Among the different works shown, we can highlight the Eiffel Tower by Stephen Sauvestre, in Paris, to the Unité d'Habitation by Le Corbusier, in Marseille, France. On the latter, he commented in an interview with purple magazine.-

"La Cité Radieuse has a very clever system of interlocking modules. In cross section, each apartment is like a little L which fits into the L of the apartment next door, like in Tetris. (...). In the same way, I created musical modules that I nested together. Music is like architecture, elements interlocking together. And when they fit together well, it’s great."
In this way, we could understand how Godin creates his music, and it is simply, from architecture.
