El Kuelgue, a band formed in Buenos Aires, in the heart of the Villa Crespo neighborhood, alongside Uruguayan rock icons No Te Va Gustar (NTVG), released "La Máquina," a collaborative single that fuses the unique identity of both groups.

Produced by El Kuelgue with Mariano Otero, "La Máquina" intertwines the voice of Julián Kartun with that of Emiliano Brancciari in a fluid combination that captures the complicity between the iconic musicians of River Plate rock.

The music video, a black and white audiovisual piece directed by Julián Kartún and León Greco and filmed in Montevideo, supports the central duality of the lyrics—curse vs. benefit—reflecting scenes that convey calm and commotion simultaneously.

The visual narrative presents a calm atmosphere, with contrasts of light and shadow, and a particular emphasis on natural elements (trees, landscapes), which, combined with solid concrete infrastructure, seem to visually reflect the idea of a "machine tucked away among the trees."

The audiovisual piece illustrates the song's central themes: a visual metaphor for the balance between progress and risk, community and strangeness, in a world where the machine invades the natural. The use of symbolic imagery reinforces the fable El Kuelgue presents with No Te Va Gustar: a call to walk, question, and recognize both the good and the unsettling aspects of evolving.

In short, this song seems to be a metaphor for the cycles of personal and collective growth, the dangers of excess, the dichotomy of progress, and the importance of stopping, thinking, and even accepting "no" as part of the journey.

Lyrics.-

Cuentan que otro monstruo bajo y me еncontró
