Desire by Bob Moses & ZHU

Desire is the third song on the EP, with the same name, released on August 28, 2020, by electronic music duo Bob Moses, consisting of Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance.

In collaboration with American producer and singer ZHU, Desire promises a darker, and to some extent, soulful and haunting sound. The theme music addresses desire in the modern age as an anxious, and even fatal, feeling that can lead to disaster.

The composition of Bob Moses and ZHU also joins the audiovisual work directed by Owen Brown who, together with various artists from the field of 3D and 2D animation, have created an inverse video clip in an apparent parallel world of shadowy tones dominated by the red and blue.

The melody and electric sounds, with a tendency towards styles such as Deep House and Indie Rock, are linked with the scenes in which two people, helplessly, fall into the void in a city full of skyscrapers and neon signs.
