Everyone's & Nothing's is a short film by Mexican animator Oskar Alvarado that was created to illustrate a journey of creation and rebirth for music from MachineCode's recently released 'Every One's & Nothing's' LP. The film reimagines the creation mythology of the Maya (Mesoamerican) gods in a science fiction context, with the central character of the journey—Kukulkan—being a "Creator," (a Maker), journeying from the stars to be reborn on a planetary surface, creating new life.
Mesoamerican culture permeates the design and aesthetics of the world imagined by Oskar Alvarado, and the short film resonates with the music album it's associated with in its exploration of concepts of cult and mythology.
