Description of project by Mayice Studio
FILAMENTO is a sculptural piece made of a single piece of glass more than one meter long. When illuminated, its form and matter disappear, giving way to a filament of light as a result of the study of its geometry.
The propagation of particles called photons becomes a visible and linear form of energy. It serves as a study of how light travels through concave and convex glass.
Everything had been crafted in Spain. It can be used outdoor and indoor.
It was exposed during Salone 2018 at Rossana Orlandi Spazio in the basement B05, a installation more than 4 metres lenght and also part of her new restaurant. Via Matteo Bandello 14-‐16 20123 Milano.
It was part of Born Awards Land Rover exhibition in Gattinoni Hub, Via Statuto 2, 20121
