Fashion icon Daphne Guinness releases her new single, “Hip Neck Spine” thanks to Nick Knight's performance in an experimental video that marks the fashion icon's return to music after a three-year hiatus.

Photographer and director Nick Knight presents a new music video accompanying the single “Hip Neck Spine”, the first song from his upcoming album “Sleep”, released on independent label Agent Anonyme Recordings, due out in late 2023.

Guinness' latest release fuses '80s disco, art-pop, and electronica references, viewed through the experimental lens of SHOWstudio's founder. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios with the song's strings scored by Tony Visconti, with whom he has produced three albums.

As a muse of both Alexander McQueen and Isabella Blow, Daphne Guinness's return to music is actually a recovery. In her youth, she trained professionally as a Lieder singer and secured a place to study at the Guildhall School of Music before her career took a different path.
