The song pays homage to traditional Puerto Rican genres such as salsa (referenced at the beginning through a sample of the song "Un Verano en Nueva York" by El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico) before later evolving into something more contemporary, such as dembow, a genre also of Latin origin that has gained significant popularity in recent years. The lyrics, written by Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, address various playful and recreational themes in an uninhibited manner, also including multiple references to Puerto Rico and its culture.
The video depicts various events, beginning with Bad Bunny, seemingly newly arrived in New York, missing the city's cold, which is his first shock as a migrant since he is accustomed to Puerto Rico's tropical climate. Later, we see a wedding celebration as a representation of the preservation of his culture despite not being in his home country.

The final part of the video offers one of its most representative and critical messages. It begins with Benito standing on the Statue of Liberty, where he has placed a Puerto Rican flag as a protest symbolizing the presence of his people in the United States. Finally, the more realistic face of many foreigners in New York City and its streets is shown, accompanied by a parody of the current president of the United States' radio address reaffirming the value of immigrants to the country (something completely at odds with his true position).
It is then that, through the song and its music video, Bad Bunny manages to make clear his vindictive stance and what it means to his country and its people.
