With the support of Moritz, the main sponsor of 080 Barcelona Fashion, the Moritz Feed Dog documentary film festival is back, celebrating its 3rd edition this spring. The event is from March 30 to April 2 at the Aribau cinemas in Barcelona and, as always, the program aims to give a polyhedral vision of the world of fashion with films that deal with both the creative, social and of business.

The opening film was “Franca: Chaos and Creation”, centered on the figure of Franca Sozzani, the unrivaled publisher of Vogue Italia, who pushed fashion magazines beyond what was established with unforgettable editorials. Recently dying, it is a tribute to a unique way of understanding the fashion that will serve as a starting point for four days of the best documentary cinema in the sector.

Another featured film in this issue is "Suited," which shows how clothing contributes to identity-building through a tailor's shop in Brooklyn that looks to queer and transgender customers. A very topical issue that will also be addressed at the next roundtable with the participation of Ángel Vilda, creative director of Brain & Beast, a company that parades in 080 Barcelonaa Fashion with models that are out of the conventional canons.

But Moritz Feed Dog includes many other proposals, such as "Out of fashion", which denounces the production process of the so-called low-cost fashion and will also have a subsequent roundtable to reflect on sustainability in the fashion sector. Or the documentary dedicated to the photographer Rose Hartman, who immortalized the most glamorous New York of the 70s like anyone else.
