Continuing with New Generations, the series of video interviews authored by Itinerant Office, we present 05 AM. This architecture office from Catalonia regards contests not only as the main way of getting commissions, but also as a way of making research in architectural practice.

NEW GENERATIONS. 05 AM
Joan Arnau and Carme Muñoz collaborated in several architecture studios before setting their own practice in 2005 in the city of Girona, 05 am. Since then, they have designed and built different kinds of projects, for particulars and also for the public administration (these commissions were obtained through contests). They have received several awards since 2005, when they won the contest for the construction of 68 dwellings and parking lots in Manresa.
