Launching Quaderns.
The official launch of the new magazine Quaderns will by Lluís Comerón, dean of COAC, Manuel Ruisánchez, member of the Board of Governors of COAC, Jose Juan Barba, jury member for the competition of the magazine direction, and Jose Zabala, director of the publication, will be accompanied by the opening of the exhibition including various proposals in the competition for the new stage of publication.
The new management team is made up, in addition to José Zabala, Guillermo Lopez and Mario Ballesteros, members of the editorial board. The jury said the proposal submitted by the winning team, among other things, the interest of editorial, graphics and innovative and optimistic approach to the solvency of the blog-web.
This is precisely the most remarkable novelty of the new era of publication, promoting the cultural role and international prestige of the journal, the service of architecture and architects, it incorporates a digital edition (quaderns.coac.net). The Blog Quaderns is raised primarily to enhance the participatory dimension, where users can talk to or comments on the material presented.
Quaderns magazine, awarded the Jean Tschumi Prize 2005 of the International Union of Architects (UIA), is determined to remain one of the most prestigious architectural magazines nationally and internationally.
