The silence of the world, like a quotation, is suddenly endowed with an oppressive eloquence. A few days ago someone said that the new architects architects are differ from previous generations because in photographs of their projects appear people. I'm not so sure about this idea, but it's always disturbing to see the architecture without its main users.

"Silent World" was awarded by the Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet Foundation prize, and received a Grant from the CICRP center Marseille, European Year of Culture 2013.

Urban places that we all remember and that are important references in our visual memory. These places are usually crowded and when we see them empty, remind us apocalyptic visions. We realize the difference between space and place. Thanks José Juan.
