The short film "LUCIA", filmed by French filmmaker Franck Trozzo Kazagui, captures the change in perception that has occurred about "pole dancing" through the story of the multidisciplinary artist based in Berlin, Lucía Cabrera Pedroso.

Since its inception, "pole dancing" has been seen as a hostess club dance, oppressive and based on money. Franck Trozzo Kazagui breaks this stigma by tracing the image of the Berlin artist and exploring this art form as a means of transformation and at the same time addressing one of her favorite themes: movement.
In the short film LUCIA, it is an intimate portrait of the artist in three parts.

Lucia Cabrera Pedroso shows pole dancing and breaks the stigma of being a pole dancer by showing it as an art in which people express themselves freely, a movement to embody femininity, and its strength through dance and artistic performance.

Lucia shows us how pole dancing (and the discipline and core strength necessary to achieve it) has identified new means of expression and has allowed her to embark on a journey of self-discovery, self-expression, and self-knowledge, through how her body can fit and display on the bar.

This short film has been co-produced by OBVIOUS, Dog Eat Dog, and E.C.R Studio.
