Atelier RUA

Francisco Garcia de Freitas (Lisboa, 1978), Architect
Degree in Architecture from Lusíada University in Lisbon (2003).
Took his apprenticeship in the studio Herzog & De Meuron (Basel, Switzerland) (2004), where he remained as an architect (2005/2006).
In 2006 returns to Portugal as a founding member of atelier RUA, where he currently develops his work.

Luís Costa Valente (Castelo Branco, 1978), Architect
Degree in Architecture from Lusíada University in Lisbon (2004).
Took his apprenticeship in the studio José Adrião Arquitectos (Lisbon, Portugal) (2005), where he remained as an architect (2006/2007).
In 2006 became a founding member of atelier RUA, where he currently develops his work.

Paulo Vieira Borralho (Lisboa, 1978), Architect
Degree in Architecture from Lusíada University in Lisbon (2002).
His apprenticeship was shared between the studio Atelier PRO (The Hague, The Netherlands) and Mecanoo Architecten (Delft, The Netherlands) (2003), where he remained as an architect (2004/2006).
In 2006 returns to Portugal as a founding member of atelier RUA, where he currently develops his work.

Rui Velho Didier (Évora, 1978), Architect
Degree in Architecture from Lusíada University in Lisbon (2004).
In 2004 worked for 6 months at Mecanoo Architecten (Delft, The Netherlands). Took his apprenticeship in the studio José Adrião Arquitectos (Lisbon, Portugal) (2005), where he remained as an architect (2006/2007).
In 2006 became a founding member atelier RUA, where he currently develops his work.
