The Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) has an international reputation as one of the most successful art colleges in Europe and our mission is to promote critical inquiry through scholarly research, learning, teaching and education in creative practice.
Since 2008, the ECA Fashion Shows features designs from students graduating in Fashion, Performance Costume and Textiles, where they can show their works to the public. This year’s event showcased 20 collections featuring a diverse range of designs inspired by several matters, from lost Peruvian tribes to 1990s kids TV shows.

In the same line, and at the end of each academic year, the ECA features the Degree Show. The College is then transformed into the capital’s biggest gallery space as it celebrates the work of more than 500 graduating artists, film makers, designers and architects. In order to gather all these works together, an online database has been settled. This database is completely open and increases its content every year. We strongly recommend you to visit it and look at the interesting work developed at the Edinburgh College of Art.
