Everything is Architecture. IX architecture week, Madrid 2012.

After Barcelona, Madrid starts his architecture week with the main title " EVERYTHING IS ARCHITECTURE". In this ninth edition with the crisis as background, COAM will host various events and acts designed to think and imagine a new scenario for architecture professionals.

Following the same line than the past editions, this year there will be guided tours through the places and buildings more emblematics in Madrid, with the particularity that the 30 buildings selected are linked with the subway lines. In addition, six of them are a tribute to the architects: Francisco de Asis Cabrero, Luis Moreno Mansilla, Eleuterio Población Knapee and Minoru Yamasaki. Remember that the visits are free, and only in two of the buildings registration is required. From 1 to October 7, 2012.

NOTHING JUST ARCHITECTURE.
Life changes and moves, and us with it. And each generation faces its own difficulties and challenges, perhaps with the feeling of facing the most difficult. And we are tempted, but also hope to think that nothing will be the same. The architecture week will never be the Party of the architecture, but, however, is more necessary than ever. Because you have to step up their involvement with the society, its people, culture and nature, open channels of communication, understanding, participation. Until no longer needed Architecture Week, because indivisible part of society, tied to human will, with determination, with sensitivity, with imagination, with courage, even with humor!. That beautiful but daunting task that must be carried out with the others, but it rests on the back of each one of us! What a fascinating task to reinvent and to imagine the new! Because it's always the difficulty where lurks the opportunity to be a participant in a life that always changes, to search for a better world, and think that this transformation is the desire of our work, and also the testimony of our existence".
