The Spanish cinematographic investigator Jorge Gorostiza and examines about the relationship between cinema, architecture and the city.
Jorge Gorostiza is an architect, author of numerous books and articles on media and magazines such as Nosferatu, Nickelodeon, Academy, Lateral and Cahiers du Cinema. Between 2000 and 2005 he was director of the Canaria Film Institute. He had lectured about architecture and film in institutions like the CAAM in Gran Canaria, UIMP, CENDEAC in Murcia, INCUNA in Gijon, Fundación Telefónica, ETS architecture of Barcelona, Madrid, Sevilla and Valencia. He was Jury in several film festivals, including those of Alcala de Henares (2001), San Sebastian (2002), Sitges (2003), Las Palmas (2005) and Documentamadrid (2005), and curator of exhibitions Builders chimeras (Centro Conde Duque, Madrid, 1999) and Capilla de los sueños (Chapel of the Magistrate, Alcala de Henares, 2001).
